Well one week of chemo and two weeks of radiation behind me!

So far, so good.  It's no walk in the park but then again it's not been quite as bad as I expected.  I want to thank all of you for your kind emails and good wishes and prayers.   They really do mean so much.

I have a partial shipment of the Quads here and the rest are following this week.  I'll make the Ordering page visible again once I can ship orders.  Thank you for your patience.

Spring has hit Ohio!  We went out today and got vegetable plants and some flowers.  I love Spring! 

I got the head I was working on finished and baked this weekend.  No arms and legs yet, but soon!

Ugh. Ugh ugh ugh.  That about sums up the past 2 days. 

Well, we all know chemo and radiation are no walk in the park.  The past two days have been rough, but fortunately there are some good anti-nausea meds out there.  I just have to remember to take them before I actually need them :-D
Yay!! I get the first round of chemo finished tomorrow morning and a break for 28 days.

I'm still waiting for news on the next shipment of Quads.  I promise to make an announcement on the NEWS page when they are on the way for certain. 

For those of you who don't know, my cancer has returned.  I have the same type of cancer that Farrah Fawcett has, but caught at an early stage (now go Google Farrah if you want to know more :-)

I will begin chemo and radiation treatments on Monday, April 13.  Since I have no idea how treatment will affect me, all I can say is I will do my absolute best to keep up with store traffic and shipments as best I can.  If for any reason things have to slow down, I will let you all know through another blog post. 

In the meantime, thanks for the prayers and concern that so many of you have shared with me.  You can't know how humbling it is to know that people around the world care enough to pray for you or share good thoughts when you're fighting cancer.

I'm working on a couple of new sculpts.  I really want to sculpt my granddaughter Lexie again at about 6 months.  That will be a larger doll with open eyes and possibly full limbs.

It's small, maybe 17 - 18" finished size.  I think I'm going to make the expression a little happier though.  Stay tuned!!
